Jessica holds many leadership roles, including being a STEM Outreach Coordinator, a chairperson for numerous community service projects, and a member of her high school’s Student Council.
Despite being told, “Women shouldn’t be able to be President because they don’t have the same mindset that men do,” Jessica has succeeded in becoming President of her class. At the top 5% of her class with a 4.4 GPA, Jessica has participated in a simulation lab at SIMS Medical Center that involved the replication of medical scenarios using robotic patients.
After being accepted into UMASS Amherst’s Honors College, Jessica hopes to further her education by combining her interest in medical tools and personalized care with her passion to improve the lives of others.
