2019 Women's Empowerment Scholarship Winner

Linnea Wegge

Linnea earned her black belt in six years and has been a dedicated member of her school’s Cross Country Team for the past four years.

In the summer of 2018, she traveled to Washington D.C. for a week-long mission trip where she worked on several projects, including in various soup kitchens, in order to benefit the local low-income population.

After graduating second in her class from Monson High School, she will be attending the University of Rochester, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in biology. As a female interested in sustainability, her ultimate goal is to become an environmental scientist or specialist.
